Earth Day 2015 Colorado Events

Earth Day is celebrated, in most parts of the world, on Wednesday April 22nd, this year. Actually, celebrations started this past Saturday April 18th, and will extend all throughout this week. For instance, Climate Education Week is celebrated from April 18 to the 25th. Different events are being hosted world-wide in an effort to make emphasis on important topics such as economic growth, sustainability development and climate change treaty.

Aspen: Earthday Party on April 22nd. Hosted by Aspen Center of Environmental Studies, City of Aspen Government and Community Office for Resource Efficiency. Held at Hallam Lake so that people can enjoy nature, locally sourced snacks, photo booth, prizes  and 2015 Green Drinks season! Read more here.

Boulder: Alliance for Colorado Sustainable hosts Sustainability Celebration, April 9 -27. The Renewable Energy and Skilled Trades Departments at Red Rocks Community College is hosting a combination of events such as lunch and learns, presentations, exhibits and workshops. On Monday April 27, the RRCC Sustainability Celebration will have 8 speakers and many workshops, as the closing day. Read more here.

Mesa: Climate Scientists Panel Discussion Webinar on April 23rd. Hosted by Green Faith, different speakers such as professors, Fulbright Scholars, meteorologists, and scientists will have a conversation on climate change and inspire to take action.
