Not only does Mile Hi Rafting offer some of the closest whitewater rafting to the Denver metro area, we also offer some of the best rafting in the state of Colorado on the Clear Creek River. We offer trips for everyone – from fun-loving beginners and adventurous intermediates to adrenaline junkies looking to tackle the steepest section of river in the state of Colorado! Trips here are offered from mid-May until mid-August, depending on water levels. This technical river runs through the historic mining valley of Idaho Springs, which offers a ton of great activities and boasts beautiful mountain scenery with an abundance of wildlife. During your trip, you just might catch a glimpse of muskrat, beaver, mule deer, bighorn sheep, and even an occasional eagle.
