Santa’s North Pole Adventure
No better way to celebrate the Christmas spirit than on board of our railroad adventures. Follow Santa and his helpers really close, while traveling through the rails of the Historic Georgetown Loop narrow gauge railroad.
During the trip, everyone receives cookies, hot chocolate, and candy canes. And for the kids, a special ornament to take home. You can book this exciting Xmas Adventure up to December 31st (except this Friday, December 25th). For 2016, you can hop on board from January 2nd to the 4th.
Santa’s Lighted Forest Train
Later in the day, you can enjoy afternoon rides depart at 5:00 pm from the Devils’ Gate station. Holiday music & light show in the forest above Georgetown. So, you get that holiday spirit as you step back in time riding the old-time steam locomotive through historic gold and silver mines.
Enjoy the last few days of this train ride that runs until December 24th. Try not to waste any time because Santa has some really busy days coming up.
If you miss the train, don’t worry. You can receive New Years Eve, celebrating in the outdoors with the First Day Hikes. No better way to welcome your New Year’s goals than promoting a healthier life. The First Day Hikes program is part of a national initiative to promote healthy lifestyles and year-round recreation in the great outdoors. At least 33 Colorado State Parks will provide guided expeditions, so people can explore nature and welcome the New Year with friends and family.
