Becoming a River Guide in ColoradoA Rafting Guide Program That Exceeds Expectations

The Colorado Statute 33-32-105.5 provides for the minimum qualifications of a professional river guide, and we are proud to say that our training program not only meets those requirements, but it also exceeds them.

We offer ten days of training on several rivers with a couple of nights of camping. There will likely be a day off at some point in the middle. A variety of rapids are experienced during training in both the Arkansas River and Clear Creek. We’ll start on more tranquil water; you will also learn how to prep meals for groups, and how to pack for overnight trips.

Our training program will start up again next year. We will communicate the dates as soon as we define them, but you should know that space is limited. So be on the lookout, so you can register as soon as possible once it is available. We will provide you with all the river gear needed throughout the training. To check out and become certified, all you need to do is be able to guide on the beginner stretch of Clear Creek —the classes there go from I to III.

We know you have what it takes. You have to believe it and join us!
