The aspens are ripe this week in Clear Creek County!  It’s the once a year phenomenon that happens in Colorado.  It’s the ideal time to get out and see the brilliant leaves before they are gone!  The color lasts about a week in most places, however, the perfect place to see them now is on the Georgetown Loop, a scenic tour in Clear Creek County.  Mile Hi Rafting Company, located just 30 minutes from Denver, offers packages for ATV and the Georgetown Loop.  Check out our package detail option below!

Rail and ATV TourRailroad tour

With our rail and ATV tour, you will receive the best of both rides!  Ride the rails to view the stunning scenery of fall glory in the Colorado Rockies and ride the ATV to tour off road sites.  The Georgetown Loop is a narrow gauge railroad operating either a diesel or steam locomotive, which winds up Clear Creek Canyon.  You will pass by remains of gold and silver mines while viewing the turning aspens.  You have a choice of enclosed or open air cars, perfect for families or kids at heart of all ages!  An additional tour of Lebanon Silver Mine is also available for an additional charge of $9.  No need to worry about weather, the Georgetown Loop Railroad has added enclosed Parlor Cars with snacks and drinks for optional riding for an additional $9 per person.  This package also includes a two hour ATV tour which is available for only $147, or a 3 hour ATV tour for $199.  All of our ATV or UTV tours come with a guide who will adjust the ride and choose trails according to your riding abilities.  Our tours come with a professional guide, safety video, ATV, helmet, and operational and safety instruction.  To insure safety, we can accommodate 4 people at a time.  The minimum age for driving an ATV is 16 years old and all machines are single riders.  Our Polaris Sportsman 2 person ATV’s can have adult or youth as passengers.  Passengers must be 56” tall, and passengers are ½ price!
